HOW WE GROW
HOW WE GROW is an award-winning feature-length documentary, which premiered in February of 2018 at the Colorado Environmental Film Festival and was awarded Best of Festival. First-time filmmakers Haley Thompson and Tomas Zuccareno served as Editor and Cinematographer, respectively, while Co-Directing and Producing as well. In the Fall of 2016, while in the middle of production on the film, they were one of six films awarded the inaugural Redford Center Grant. The below short is the deliverable they created prior to editing the feature length film, as a means for giving audiences an idea of what the feature film would become.
This is a short vignette of the feature documentary film HOW WE GROW, produced thanks to grantors The Redford Center and New York Community Trust. HOW WE GROW tells the story of ambitious young farmers building community around locally grown food in the Roaring Fork Valley of Western, Colorado.
